Hailing from the Mile High underground, Denver power trio Orbital Destroyer delivers an unapologetic sonic wall built to shatter expectations. Blurring the line between monolithic sludge weight and high-velocity alternative metal, the band strips heavy rock down to pure impact: explosive fury, unrelenting drive and zero filler.

Their self-titled debut via Westward Records established the band's sonic gravity—a crushing seven-track assault engineered with an elite team featuring Grammy-winning producer Clark Hagan, metal mixing heavyweight Glenn Fricker (Spectre Sound Studios) and mastering icon Maor Appelbaum. Each track showcases the trio's dynamic scope: from the slow-burn, hypnotic crawl of lead single “Lethargy” through the vintage ’70s sludge swagger and raw blues bite of “Psychic Damage” to the suffocating, brooding tension of "W.H.Y." and the concussive, groove-driven urgency of "Telekinetic"—delivering maximum sonic weight and crushing impact across every cut.

That studio intensity translates directly to the stage and the airwaves. Orbital Destroyer has rapidly built a reputation as a must-see live powerhouse—tearing through premier Denver rooms like HQ and the Larimer Lounge, storming Lulu’s Downtown in Colorado Springs and commanding the theater stage supporting national heavyweights Texas Hippie Coalition at The Federal Theatre. Taking that momentum beyond state lines, the trio has broken onto the regional festival circuit, anchored by an upcoming run through Utah, with more festival slots to be announced.

Orbital Destroyer charges into its next era at full throttle—powered by William Westward’s sludge-heavy guitar attack, Chris Cardone’s punishing, freight-train low-end locking down every inch of sonic space and Daniel Hoberecht commanding the drum throne.
